Beautiful view. It makes up for the fact that the sites are right on top of each other. The folks in the office couldn't be nicer. Check out time is too early at 11am. And the wifi is pretty slow....

Love our 2 days here...just wish they sold ice and dome basic needs. Such nice people. We made friends and enjoyed the fishing. Will be back for a longer stay.

This is a large gravel parking lot without much foliage or privacy. However, it is meticulously maintained and it has a beautiful view of the Gulf. There is only one shower in each restroom. Friendly staff. We only paid $32 for the night.

This park is pretty far from most places, but the management makes up for some of the deficits. Some sites are right on the Gulf, but all sites are just coarse sand/crushed shells. There is a nice long dock extending out that folks congregate on and chat as the sun goes down. The beach is a very narrow strip, but deserted, and you can walk a mile or so in both directions. Trees shed annoying pine needles all over camper and awnings. We liked it here, and enjoyed Carrabelle and Apalachicola.

GREAT place. Clean, lots of pull thru's. Right on the waters edge. Long pier to watch the amazing sunrise. Peaceful fishing spot with cleaning station and hose. Amazing value!

Stayed here for a week in August in site B9. Water view so costs a little more. Site not level so sewer hose ran uphill. Sites do not have breaker switches at the individual campsite posts which is normally found in RV & State Parks. Husband did get a spark when we plugged in. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Hosts friendly and helpful.C community room being used for storage and paint projects. Nice swing seats by water and office. Long fishing pier . No swimming allowed but did see one man taking a swim. Good for kayaks and very small boats. Not much in Carabelle but good IGA grocery. Be sure to drive to Apalachicola for a meal at the Owl Cafe. Delicious crab dip and fried shrimp.

Try to camp here every year. There is a pier & dock for fishing & a small boat ramp. Cable tv & wifi work great. This is a no frills, adult campground. Laundry facilities are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had to leave early because of Hurricane Irma. Camped here in a motorhome.

We stayed 1 night we could of stayed longer but we would of had to move. You want the spots that over look the water...beautiful. the other spots are crushed shells no grass. Not good for us with dogs.

Super staff and great views of the gulf. Jolley was most helpful and friendly as was Susan during our stay there recently. We would love to return and enjoy the views some more. Facilties are nice and everything works as it should.

Came back here after hurricane Irma to finish our stay. Dock & pier were removed before the hurricane hit. They say they are not going to put it back up until October because this is the height of hurricanes and it is a big job to put it up and take down. That is why I only gave it 4 stars as I like fishing on the dock.

This is a wonderful campground. The place is clean and the people are friendly. The sites are not to close to each other. We plan to come back real soon.

This is a no-frills, clean park with sites right on the Gulf of Mexico. We pulled our 40' MH in to the site and had a fabulous view out the front. There's no swimming beach, but there is a walkable shoreline at low tide that allows dogs. There is a pier for soaking in the view or for fishing. No children are allowed, and it has a very low-key, quiet, relaxed atmosphere. If you want activities, this is not the place. If you want to relax, read, or fish then you've found the place!! Our FHU site was crushed shell/rock and was level. The WIFI was a little slow for me, and since I have my own, I just used mine. Never checked it again. Cable worked well with plenty of channels. Check in was friendly & easy. We loved it here and will be back.

Great campground right on Gulf of Mexico. Two double swingseats to enjoy sundowners or sunrises. Fab pier, all kitted out for fishing & crabbing. Host are really friendly. Sites are generous size , gravel and sand porch. Very level sites. Only slight disadvantage is that there is very little shade , but hey this is the beach Water warm but not really swimable as thick mud, need to go about 4miles to great beach with concrete tables and shade for swimming. Free Wifi & cable has been great Would definitely recommend

Great rustic park with terrific friendly people. Office as well as guests. Can't wait to get back!
By user-5853161... on 2017-10-23.
You couldn't be closer to the beach. Some sites face the gulf like the pictures. Other sites are pull throughs. Even with our trailer, we didn't have to unhook cuz long enough. Not a lot of extras but only $33 a night. Great staff and Friendly RVers. WiFi worked. God's view the best. Seashell hunting, fishing.

This Park is basically a parking lot between the highway and the Gulf . The Beach isn’t long enough to really enjoy it for more than a couple of days . The facilities are adequate but very limited . Staff is very friendly. Good spot to stop and chill out on your way to somewhere else .

Really enjoyed our stay here, and so did our dogs!! Had a perfect waterfront sight, watched the tide coming and going, walked the dogs along the shore or on the grassy area to one side. Unbeatable view of the Gulf!! Will definitely be back!!
By user-4798079... on 2018-05-17.
It is on the side of a busy highway. Nothing fancy. Very few trees for most. Dog area is tiny grass area with no fence. Gravel/oyster shells pads and camp ground. Staff and other campers are very nice. Laundry room was clean. Great one night stay.

This was our 3rd time here and enjoy it every time. People are so friendly and have made some new friends. Really wish it had a small convenience store.

Stayed here a year ago & have pretty much the same review. Great view out the front of the MH in a Tier A site. You drive straight in, so view out the front. Our site #35 was an end site, so we also had views out the curb side. Site #50 is also an end site with views out the road side. This is a no-frills park with nothing to do but fish, read, & relax. If you want activities, this isn't the place. Our FHU site was crushed shells and was level. Sites are fairly close, but fine for us. Verizon service was good as was the WiFi...had a few slow downs. Cable had enough channels. No swimming beach, but is walkable with the dog at low tide. Carrabelle is close by, is small, but charming, with a couple of restaurants, grocery, Ace, & a marina. We would stay here again.

Stopped while traveling and ask to use restroom and the gentleman said this is private. I said no problem we will just go in our RV! Pulled stairs down, pushed slide out and used our restroom. That is pretty sad to not allow us to use their restroom.

Loved this park.....no frills except laundry and wifi but the views alone are worth every penny!! Stayed Tier A site #49. Will definatley be staying here again.
