Poorly managed facility. Rules says 14 day stay limit, but there are obvious homesteaders. Facilities were dirty to include the recreation room. Bathrooms were not cleaned the whole duration I was there. Staff seemed to not care about accomodating anyone.

Expectation management
By user-5278725... on 2017-10-23.
I never expect much from FamCamps on any installation... Pulled in without reservations at 1700 after restocking at commissary... office only open 0800-1600. The after hours station listed 4 available sites (the rest were reserved or in repair), but noted to "check in with office next day for bathroom access, wifi, etc." Good news is that the sites are level, and though oddly layed out are easy access; BX, Commissary, gas, Class 6, etc., are just a few blocks away; and if you don't want to (or can't) use the shoddy bathrooms, then a very, very nice gym is right across the street. Would stay again for an overnighter only. Great: Was able to receive a super strong signal for Fox on just regular antenna to watch the World Series!

Treated like an outsider.
By user-5176164... on 2017-10-23.
I'm an active duty service member and was treated like an outsider. The so called staff wasn't at the office didn't return my phone calls or emails and when I arrived and began to setup he acted as if I wasn't wanted there. The spots weren't level, and the directions were vague, the only amenity I used was the dog area area. I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they are airforce or retired airforce.

Stayed for two days for the air show. Staff was friendly enough but the grounds were heavily covered with goats head weed. Will not go back.

Nice.... yet has some limitations..

This FamCamp was actually very nice.. however there are some issues..
I'll start with the good.. The camp hosts were wonderful. Couldn't be nicer folks. Helped us get parked (we got in after hours). The laundry, restrooms/shower facilities were all sanitary-clean.
The water/dump/electric spot (at least in our site) was oddly placed at the very back of the lot.. meaning, I need an extra 10' of sewer pipe. The power cord reached ok (barely).
The less than great news is regarding WiFi. Only in the lounge room can you get it. Seems someone decided to turn the signal down to avoid anyone outside of the park access to "their" WiFi.. I suggest a password.. just say'n. Also don't expect to watch TV, since all the channels are home shopping or infomercials. NO news, sports, or even network TV. Such a simple fix yet, it is still a problem.

Hill is a nice base, however, the famcamp leaves a lot to be desired. The sites are mostly backin butting up on the same as pad as the camper behind you. The laundry is nice $1.00 for washers and dryers. They do have some pull-thrus. No. WiFi in the Park only in the office area, no cable, no satellite reception.

Good value, near I-15

$15 dry camp, $20 hookups; walking distance to fitness center/track, dining facility. Exchange and commissary six blocks away. Go directly to office at campground not Outdoor Recreation office.

Wonderful Famcamp!
We stayed here 3 nights to regroup on our trip to various National Parks. It is lovely. Sites are cement with gravel in between, mostly back-in but some pull-through for really big rigs. There's an area of lovely soft grass with shade trees and an equally nice dog park. It is right around the corner from the South gate. Each site has a table and full hook ups. The sites are really close together, but if you are there for laundry and restocking, it's fine. Very clean if it's rainy. Washers and dryers cost $1 each, dryers run 45 minutes. Commissary is less than a mile away, open every day. Only negative was coming in the gate, traffic pattern is weird, but you can turn left to go to the camp from the right lane if you wait for traffic in the left lane. We had a nice stay and our border collie loved the dog park!

Stayed 2 nights. Literally only one complaint...neighbors drain is near the outside table. Very friendly staff. Pulled in and very easily hooked everything up. Service rooms were well above average. Staff is super friendly, I watched him help multiple families get settled into their spaces. Highly recommended!!
