Good spot

We came in late (2am) and it was misty so a bit scary when the view was so limited. One other RV was parked there. We had some problems fining the vista point (partly due to the thick mist). I think you have to come directly from golden gate bridge going north to get enter the area. Great view over the bridge and SF in the morning!

Absolute amazing place to park over night. Wouldn't want to come with a big rig but for campers and vans it's amazing.

Blown away they let RVs park here overnight! No issues. Beautiful view. Lots of overnight RVs here. Best stop and view we've had yet!

Great view and close to SF.

Stayed here two nights because it was the closest legal parking I could find to downtown. Felt safe and plenty of parking. A little noisy in the am due to tour buses.

No problems

Absolutely stunning rest area. Perfect view over Golden Gate Bridge and SF. Only problem is that you'll only get there when you're driving out of town. So you'll have to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge which costs a fee (around $7), but only when you drive out of town, so driving into the city is without a charge. But the view when you fall asleep and get up is totally worth it. And driving over the Golden Gate Bridge as well, so it doesn't really matter. :)

Très bien pour une nuit mais pas pour s’installer. Beaucoup de passage et assez bruyant. Je recommande le parking du Bay Area Museum un peu plus bas avec une vue toujours aussi belle et beaucoup plus calme.

We found this great spot via this app and our overnight was great! It is very touristic so you better come later in the evening and leave early in the morning. Toilets are very clean.

Excellent overnight spot

I loved it here. It was windy and my RV got rocked a bit, but that became soothing eventually and I was able to sleep past first light. Now, this morning, I think it is still a great place to get a few things done before going on up the road.

If you're reading this: Welcome to one of the most RV-unfriendly cities in the US!
Very limited space - 2 RVs occupy all the available space and 2 longer ones won't even fit at all. Police officers at night were nice and confirmed that overnight parking is OK. The area is patrolled frequently. Police officers in the morning were very rude and basically kicked us out at about 8 AM, stating that the buses would need the space.

Stayed here 3 nights, was perfect. Restrooms were not clean in the evening but they were in the morning. Quiet place but tourists arrives from 8am. Others RV s were there. Very beautiful place to wake-up and breakfast in front of the bridge!

Windy but what a view

Stayed two nights. Amazing view of city and bridges. Come late and leave early. Quite windy and there was some noise from visitors coming and going but not bad and such a great spot to hit up the city the next day.

the most lovely view to wake up to!! stayed for one night and left at ten in the morning. a party bus came to the rest area at around 11 pm. it was loud but provided people watching lol
