Goose Island Campground is located on Hwy. 35, 3 miles south of La Crosse. Located on the backwaters of the Mississippi, this large campground offers excellent fishing and stunning sunsets. Goose Island is unique among public parks. Not only is it incredibly beautiful, but equally important - it is extremely well-maintained. We take great pride in our high standards because we know that is the way you want it. Our camping season begins April 15th and continues until October 30th. Online reservations are accepted beginning January 3rd, 2017
