Great state park. HUGE, shaded sites. So big, you could put a tent, dining canopy, motorhome, car, and still have room for children to play on site. Picnic area. Fishing, boating, dump station. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because like most state parks it doesn't have sewer hookups on sites.

Very well kept with large sites And lots of shade...nice picnic areas and boat dock...Includes free access to Henderson State Park beach although closest distance to that beach is via toll bridge

Stayed April 2016. Very quiet, clean. Large sites, great restrooms. Nice trails thru the woods. One of the nicest State Parks I've camped in.

The nearby Gulf beaches eclipse this lovely little park. Campsites are shady and large with a mix of paving and earth. I would stay longer and will return.

Large! sites level and easy access for electric and water. Dump site easy to access. Many walking trails and picnic areas on a beautiful bayou. Hosts and rangers very helpful.

Very clean and friendly small campground with 42 very large sites on the bayou. Water and electric for $18 , one dump station and one bathhouse. FYI it is close to a EOD, Explosive ordnance disposal so expect some interesting noise.

Paradise! This is heaven on earth! Friendly staff, clean, small, peaceful campground, clean bathhouse with tiny lending library, recycling center, gorgeous hiking trails, fun fitness trail, easily accessible beaches, pet-friendly (see pix). It's close to everything, including beaches of Destin via the Mid-Bay Bridge, but you feel like you're off the beaten path! We highly recommend this gem and plan to return!

Large spacious and well maintained sites. Bathhouse is well maintained and climate controlled. Staff is very friendly. All around great stay!

We arrived and was treated so good by the staff and enjoyed our time here a real gem and located close to Destin saved us hundreds in camping fees

We are here in July and this place is for real awesome. The staff and host are spot on and helpful in every way. I would recommend this campground to anyone. 15 min from the beach and quite nights. We will be back!
