Awesome little campsite
By user-5759113... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed here with two dogs, a preschooler in a travel trailer. Had a very shaded site in early July that kept us cool throughout the day. Camp site features a private pond for fishing, playground, and so much more. Felt like home. Close to shopping, movies, and restaurants. Very pleased. Would highly recommend.

It's ok.

Stayed 2015-08-22 to 2015-08-23
It's fairly quiet, the owner was nice, but it's a pretty plain campground. At least for the one to two nighters. No shade in the front sites, so request the back sites. No frills, no cable, but the internet works great.

Last Minute - and Great Find!

We called early in the day to see if the campground was real busy. Got a nice honest answer - no, shouldn't be a problem. I told the owner I would call back once we were sure we'd be stopping in Paducah. About 4 pm I called back and gave our name. Wasn't asked for a CC. We pulled in right at 6 pm and the owner greeted us with a smile, explained everything we needed to know and guided us to our spot. Very warm welcome, we were able to park in a pull thru with sufficient room but we did disconnect the car to go to dinner. Quiet, clean, and GREAT wifi. Let me say that again! GREAT wifi. So often we're told that there is wifi - and unless you sit outside the clubhouse you're outta luck! We like to map and figure out the next day's travel in the evening - and check mail. Definitely will keep this place in mind when traveling thru Kentucky and the area again! Very reasonable, too!

Unwired

Very comfortable site. Clean, friendly staff, close to restaurants, stores, amusements etc.
No connectivity for those who need to be wired to the intranet, even though you are given WiFi information

Clean well campground
By user-5775008... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-10-04 to 2016-10-05
Stayed for just a overnight stop. Clean well kept campground. Small lake you could walk your dog around. But it was very noisy about 5 AM to 9 AM when local traffic went by for work. The trains could also be heard all night.

A nice place to stay

It was very clean and well kept. Very nice owners. I had no trouble with the WiFi except that it is N. In our slip, it was sunny in the morning and shady in the evening. We were out by the road and there was little traffic noise. The dogs like all the grass. If we return to Paducah this could be out choice. Cost varies a lot with services available. The dump is easily accessed.

Great for an overnight
By user-5276998... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed on my way down to Florida. Pretty quiet, just used one of their pull through overnight spots. Bath house was fine. The one quirky thing is in cold weather, I use a 30 amp for my power plus I plug in a space heater into the 20 amp service outlet that is usually also on the pedastal. This one did not have one for some reason. They were otherwise easy to work with

Stayed here overnight. No complaints. Friendly staff, clean park and level sites. WiFi good. Overnight spots are in their own area, slightly separated from the extended stay sites. Nice idea!

Nice Overnight
By user-5429620... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2018-08-22 to 2018-08-23
This is a good stop for an overnight stay. The park is easy on and off of I-24 and easy to get into and out of. The area where we stayed was more like a large gravel parking lot with full hookups. We were too long for these sites with our tow, but the attendant put us towards the end of the row so no one needed to go around us. He was very nice. As close as we were to the highway it was very quiet. We travel through this way often and it is nice to be able to find places like this. Nothing fancy, but a nice quiet place to spend the night. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

The office staff was friendly and helpful. The sites are close together. No picnic tables. Close to town and lots of restaurants and stores. Easy to get to the National Quilt Museum. The road noise was very bad. We just stayed in our motorhome with the door locked at night.
