Left After 1 Day
By user-5793745... on 2017-10-23.
This campground might be nice in Spring or early Summer, but we were there in September in a travel trailer and it was so unpleasant that we left after 1 day. It was hot, dry, full of stickers, no shade, few small trees, lake half empty--ugly and barren. Bathrooms were very nice.

You can't beat it for the money

$30 a night for a paved pull through site with full hookups is a real deal. Like others said the signage is bad. Just keep falling the main road until you see the camp host's RV on your right.
There is a big dip in the road in the park, Go really slow. I scraped my tow bar on back of 38 foot diesel pusher.

Stopped here with no reservation
By user-5829753... on 2017-10-23.
Pulled in and grabbed the last spot on a Saturday night in May. Paid $30. Awesome lakeside spot with table and fire pit. Be ware when entering, don't follow the first sign that says camping, it's misleading. It is for tents and small vehicles. Go further and you will go to the other side of the lake. Great views! Plenty of room for long rigs. Camp host sells firewood. No stores close by.

Review of RV side of park
By user-5859125... on 2017-10-23.
Two parts to the park. Hill side tent units with more shade and less views of the lake. RV side with less cover and with a view from almost every site. We had full hook ups for $30 per night. On site campground host. The rest rooms/showers can be a bit of a walk from some of the sites, but not too bad. Restrooms and showers were clean. Nice park and would stay again. We just showed up but in the high season you would probably need reservations. Don. Sacramento. Stayed in April 2016

Nice park...bad signage
By user-6350186... on 2017-10-23.
This park is very nice. For tent or rv. Don't get caught in tent area if u have an rv. Very tight to navigate. Continue around the lake to the rv sights. They are paved, level, easy back in spaces, a few pull thru. The view is beautiful. Good TV reception.

Perfect for us
By user-6065507... on 2017-10-23.
We spent 2 nights here the week before Christmas on our way south. We were the only ones there other than the camp hosts. Sites overlook the lake, which was way low, but still pretty. The restrooms are closed for the winter, other than one that is a long ways from the RV park, if that is something you need. It's only 5 miles from Ashland.

Beautiful! Fun!!

This sight is so picturesque, and quiet. The RV spots were well spaced. We pulled in with no reservation and had no problem. Important to note is the water in Ashland is heavily sulfuric, so smells like rotten eggs.
The lake is swimable or available for whatever water activity you choose. There is also a water slide!! $6 per person but lots of fun!

Close proximity to Ashland, OR for the theater, shopping and dining.

Easy back-in site, level pad (paved) site that faced the lake with great views all around. No Wi-F or recycling here. Well-kept grounds and good services. Did not use the bathrooms. But the main feature was its close proximity to Ashland, OR for the theater, shopping and dining.
I would definitely stay here again!

Great views, lakeside RV sites, full hook-ups. Camp hosts keep the property and restrooms very clean. Hiking around lake, 10 minutes to Ashland. I would star here again in a minute. On a few other reviews, they mentioned poor signage. Those reviews are a few years old. Signage now is just fine, and the RV sites are easy to find and across the lake from the tent sites.
