The problems experienced and reported on this Federal Campground indicate major ethical issues when private or corporate political beliefs become informal policies that target the public they hired to serve. Seems like serious conflicts of interest and if the plan is to discourage the public from using public parks. Report your problems to Congress and the Inspector General for the Interior Department.
| Love it!
This is a privately owned resort. The resort is owned and operated by the residents. My husband and I rented from private owners for 4 years. We loved it so much that this year we bought our own lot here! The springs are across the street when we are tired if using the lake and pools here!
| Apathetic management, loud parties
Nice location. Mostly long term or full timers. Some lots are owned and residents only come on weekends and holidays. Such was the case in the lot next to one we occupied for a week. Unfortunately, these residents did not see the need to observe the published quiet hours of 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and thus we had two nights of loud music, boisterous inebriated party goers well into the wee hours of the morning. Tried twice to call management and got a Voicemail with no return call. Finally had to summon the sheriff around 1 a.m. The most troublesome part was when we tried to discuss the matter with the management the following day we were met with total apathy and indifference. Otherwise, it was an ok place. Nice location on a lake but would not recommend it.
