Great pool and spa facilities ... highly maintained grounds and spots ... beautiful park ... huge pull through spots if you want one. This is truly one of the best RV parks on I-5.

We pulled in for one night, Good Friday, to find, as I would have suspected, that this beautiful resort is very popular with families with younger children and RV'ers looking like they could have been the loud party type, on at least this, a holiday weekend. Never heard the loud music or carrying on that I was concerned about. This appears to be a park that enforces its rules. The resort is just that. Beautiful with lots of extras. Many of the premium sites - gorgeous - could wind up being buddy sites so check with the office if this concerns you. The office staff is great as is everything about this resort. Very likely the nicest in the state of Jefferson.

Neat, clean with lots of amenities. Good location along I-5. We paid $47 for a 21' TT. I would stay here again.

The only reason I didnt give five stars is I didnt get to experience all they had. Very friendly, great customer service and extremely clean. I will stay here again and enjoy all the park has to offer. Worth every penny!

Easy access, very clean with awesome amenities. sheri's pie shop is within easy walking distance and local pizza restaurant delivers to park so no need to unhook your tow car if you are overnighting in a pull through space. Wish there was a park even 1/2 as nice in Sacramento!!!

We have stayed here twice, for a week each time, once in a 35' 5th wheel and once in a 43' motorhome. Both times, we paid the extra to get a site overlooking the Sacramento River. The river sites are set up for motorhome pull-in, but our two sites also had sewer outlets on both sides to accommodate backing in the 5th wheel. They pick up garbage at your site and pickup/return your propane bottles for refilling. It is a beautiful park and well maintained. Need a massage? They have that also. We will be back if we need to stop again when passing through the area.

We have stayed here many times, especially spring and fall when we need a place to enjoy warmer weather. The facilities are excellent and everything is extremely well-cared for and maintained. People are very friendly and want to have you return in the future. Walking distance to grocery store and Luigis, a nearby Italian restaurant, gives a discount to those staying at Durango and will deliver to your site!

Easy access for big rigs, cement pads, spacious, very clean, good WiFi, fire pits, hot tub, flowing river. Would stay again absolutely! Walking distance to Shari’s for Wednesday Free Pie Night, what more could you hope for?

My brother is from Oregon we’re from central California so we met half way and chose this resort. It was so neat! All the staff was really nice and all very pet frieny they would even stop by to give our dogs snacks when we were walking. They have a huge room with couches and games and a fireplace if you need a break from your trailer. The pool is huge but not heated in winter so we only used the hot tub (which is pretty rare when your camping). It’s really close to grocery stores and restaurants. I could go on and on but I will just say we will be back again! Also it’s close to the I-5 but it’s also right next to the Sacramento River which made for great pictures!

Everything you would want or need in a park. Don't be discouraged by the path into the park.

Huge, level sites. Pool and Spa were down for repairs while we were here, but everything is very neat and well kept. Excellent dog parks, lots of space between sites, all underground irrigation.

Went here because of the good reviews - a bit misleading. Security is lacking, nice front gate that they close, but fencing along river is open to homeless camps. No one informed us that there is a theft problem here. We had one bike stolen. Management is aware of missing items but chose not to finish about 8' of fencing to help keep wanderers out. I asked them to review the security footage, but was told the new security system does not function. No one warned us about the problems - other parks have at least told us about issues. Pool is nice but exercise room consisted of two stationery bikes. When booking, was told only non discounted river sites were left - we were good with that until we saw multiple pull through sites available all week at a much lower cost. I count on reviews - next time will ask more questions. Suggest you look around Redding for more options.

I consider this to be the best RV resort in the state. This visit, we opted for one of their best sites - waterfront. We waited until we arrived (midweek) to handpick the site. Because both towables & motorhomes can be intermixed, we did not want our living space to open our neighbor s. The perfect end site was available. First problem is that the hookups in these sites are not well situated for motorhomes. It required a minimum of 2 lengths of sewer hose to get our 37 Class A in far enough to fit our C-RV into the site. The concrete pad did not appear as sloped as it truly is. We carry 2 sets of the yellow LEGO s . Even after a trip to the local WalMart for a third, I could not get the front of the coach elevated sufficiently. A 43 DSDP next to us had used about that amount successfully. The office graciously reassigned us to a very nice pull-thru as we ve always used before. We were very disappointed that the premium site wouldn t work for our rig, but our visit was still, as always, just wonderful. Purchasing propane here is tricky. We were successful only due to the help of a wonderful gentleman named Phil who guided us in. Thanks, again Phil!50

We spent 4 night here and thought the park was amazing. It s very attractive and the bathrooms and showers are the cleanest I have seen in a long time, anywhere. We did hear I-5 and train noise, but we get used to those things in most parks. The sites are nice and large and easy for set-up.

This is a awesome park but there are some issues. Unfortunately their power supplier is PG&E, need we say more. We were in the park for one week during a very hot spell and the power supply was interrupted on four different occasions. Two of the interruptions lasted approximately four hours. These issues are beyond the control of the park but I suspect they will continue to be a problem as long as they have the same company supplying their power.
