Located about 6 miles south of the park entrance, this one is close enough. Has 30 amp+water, dump station at rear. $44/night which seemed a bit pricey, but this is Denali. Verizon signal was 1x, with no data available, but free WiFi in lodge across the road and in the village near the park. Later, we found a state park dry camp facility down around Mile 132 which offered a great view of the mountain. Wish I'd known about it sooner.
Interesting campground with hotel, cabins, tent and rv sites. Great Thai food truck in parking lot.
We rented a secluded 30 Amp spot. When we plugged in and turned on our heat pump the breaker popped. My husband who is an electrician discovered they had the 30 amp pedestal incorrectly wired ro a 20 amp breaker. We complained. They realized they had a problem. They told use we could either move to their gravel parking lot spots or leave. Refused to give us any discount. I thought they owed us for diagnosing their issue but they did not see it that way.
