| Cramped

Nice wooded park that is quiet. However, this park is not designed for big rigs. Our neighbor's slide is literally two feet from ours. We barely have enough room to park our tow vehicle and there is very little outdoor space with no room to set up chairs. Not what I would expect for $57/night.

| Great Spot

We have a 42ft coach and this park accommodates it very well. Plus we were able to park our car in back. Very clean area and quiet. The back of the park has some older full time trailers and coaches but the majority of the park is newer. Wonderfully located for our travels to Virginia city and other small town. The wifi is very good when used with our wifi ranger. Cable TV is good.... We would come back easily.....

| Close to it all

Coachland is a wonderful park and would recommend to anyone who does not mind zero lot lines. This is a California real estate term, small lot, close to neighbor. The only downside of the accommodations is how close you are to your neighbor on the hookup side, about one foot or less depending on how close your neighbor parks to the hookups, then expands slide outs. On the passenger side most share the same common area. We all appreciate our space when available. Other than this one negative, the park is nice, close to everything, including your neighbor. We were there for one week and would have stayed longer if a big event had not sold out the park. Downtown Truckee is lovely and inviting. Donner State Memorial Park is worth the history stop, the hiking trails and a must, Lake Tahoe. We will be back again.

About

Coachland is one RV park in the High Sierras where one can truly enjoy the change of seasons all year long. Located at an elevation of 5900 feet just outside the historic town of Truckee, and just 20 minutes from beautiful Lake Tahoe, Coachland guests enjoy ideal summer temperatures, and an endless array of outdoor activities. Winter brings the fresh powder snow the Sierras are famous for, and with it great skiing, boarding and sledding at the many nearby resorts. Coachland is conveniently located on Highway 89 North, 1/4 mile North of Interstate 80. All roads within the park are paved and of sufficient width, and all spaces are pull- thrus, so pulling in and out is a easy. All sites include full hookups, with cable TV provided. There are a number of landscaped sites available for monthly occupancy on a first come-first serve basis, for those who enjoy doing a little gardening. **Important notes regarding the park's amenities** There is a large common Grill and Fire Pit in our picnic area to be used by reservation! We do allow forest service approved enclosed fire pits on the sites. We have a Propane Filling Station. The park is handicap friendly.
