Cramped
By user-5904766... on 2017-10-23.
Nice wooded park that is quiet. However, this park is not designed for big rigs. Our neighbor's slide is literally two feet from ours. We barely have enough room to park our tow vehicle and there is very little outdoor space with no room to set up chairs. Not what I would expect for $57/night.

Great Spot
By user-5023458... on 2017-10-23.
We have a 42ft coach and this park accommodates it very well. Plus we were able to park our car in back. Very clean area and quiet. The back of the park has some older full time trailers and coaches but the majority of the park is newer. Wonderfully located for our travels to Virginia city and other small town. The wifi is very good when used with our wifi ranger. Cable TV is good.... We would come back easily.....

Close to it all
By user-4930280... on 2017-10-23.
Coachland is a wonderful park and would recommend to anyone who does not mind zero lot lines. This is a California real estate term, small lot, close to neighbor. The only downside of the accommodations is how close you are to your neighbor on the hookup side, about one foot or less depending on how close your neighbor parks to the hookups, then expands slide outs. On the passenger side most share the same common area. We all appreciate our space when available. Other than this one negative, the park is nice, close to everything, including your neighbor. We were there for one week and would have stayed longer if a big event had not sold out the park. Downtown Truckee is lovely and inviting. Donner State Memorial Park is worth the history stop, the hiking trails and a must, Lake Tahoe. We will be back again.

Clean & Quiet RV Park
By user-5868474... on 2017-10-23.
We have been RV'ing at Coachland RR Park for many years now. It is very well maintained, and all sites are full service/pull through large RV sites. The park location is ideal, being within minutes of Truckee, and Donner Lake. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. A very clean and quiet RV community. Well priced in our opinion. We highly recommend staying st Coachland.

Poor customer service.
By user-6315405... on 2017-10-23.
Woman on the phone was daft. Try serving your potential guests a bit better, it's what you're there for. We're going to stay somewhere else in the area. Bye bye $54. (By the way, this place is terribly overpriced!)

Nice Place, Good Location
By user-6438181... on 2017-10-23.
Assuming you're interested in Donner or Tahoe, the location is great. Truckee is a nice little town and worth a visit, as well.
The staff was very friendly. The campground looks good, with lots of tall pines. The sites were a little tight, and ours was not very level. Restrooms were fine. They also have a dog park.
I believe we paid $36 with a Good Sam discount.

Easy access and clean

This park is nestled in the huge pines and has level pull thru PAVED sites. The laundry and rec center were very clean, as was the park in general. Friendly staff! Located close to squaw valley. Take a trip around Lake Tahoe...without the RV for a great experience.

Large dog park
By user-5704493... on 2017-10-23.
Love this RV Park prices are reasonable and there's a large dog park adjacent to the RV park. The park is clean and the most Immaculate RV park we've ever stayed in. Would stay here again definitely.

Loved this place and will be back!

We hit snow, sleet and fog coming over the summit and needed to find a place fast! It was getting late when we pulled in and the office was closed. However, on the office porch is a check-in area. You pick one of the available spots listed, put your payment in the envelope provided, and drop it in the mail slot in the door. Then cross your Lot number off the list, grab a map and go park! It's that easy!
The park is easily accessible off I-80 and is well-organized, well-kept, well-lot, and easy to maneuver. We were in a 26' Class C. The spots are roomy and the hook-ups are right next to the rig. There are dog parks within the campground and doggy dump stations. Hee.
The laundry room is meticulous. Didn't use the bathrooms; however, they are locked during the night but you get a code to access them. The Wi-Fi was pretty much useless for us. We never could log on but they do have a clubhouse were you could get a good signal, if you're so inclined.
The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. Truckee is in very close proximity (6 miles?) to Lake Tahoe and we love the area. We will be back when there's no chance of snow! Haha!!

Enjoyed this park while visiting Lake Tahoe

We loved the talk pines and woodland setting of this park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They showed us to our site and helped us get situated. One of the nicest dog parks we have ever seen, with grass and a small and large pen. Nearby and just outside the park is a nicely paved walking path. Restrooms were cleaned every morning, and they had a very nice portolet to use while they were being cleaned. We will use this park again when in the area. We were in a 40' class A.

Can you say sardine?
By user-5974627... on 2019-08-09.
It is unbelievable to me how close together the sites are. Literally could pass coffee between neighbors from inside the campers. Greed at its finest as these people have a very large property and could easily make larger sites.
To their credit, the place is clean, has a nice dog park and nice bathrooms. But too few bathrooms for the amount of people the cram in.
I visited in September 2018 and would not return. $55 bucks a night is too high for what they offer

New owners
By user-5960050... on 2019-08-09.
Was a nice place stay, but pricey. New owners bringing in park models for full timers. Many full timers now. I would return if in the area. Truckee and the surrounding area is very nice.
