| Great little park

By user-5535799... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here for 3 days in July, site 18. It was a back end site but easier to back into because of the road configuration. The was a swimming area right by it and the bath house was close but not too close. The park is older, it was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. A couple of the pavilions are examples of their work. There is plenty to do--nature trail, swimming, fishing, boating, even a splash pad for the kids. It's very peaceful here. The camp sites are shady and well spaced. There is a fire pit, grill and picnic table at each site but they are sometimes on the "wrong " side of the RV. We needed an extra water hose to connect because of the location of the faucet.

| Beautiful but tight for large rigs!

Beautiful campground. Nice lake! Quiet and peaceful. Very narrow roads and most sites too tight for larger rigs. Very friendly and was given another spot as I could not get a 35 foot trailer in the first spot.

| Nice place!

Found this park online and thought we would give it a try and we are so glad we did! Lots of stuff for kids (splash pad, big playground, swimming area and lots of fishing opportunities.). Lady at counter was very nice and let us choose our spot based on what we wanted to do. Took spot #18 and my kids were able to fish and were going to swim but it rained so that was out. Will definitely stay here again! Paid $25 for one night with complete hook ups
