The host were very nice and helpful. This is a great location. Their is a large clean swimmimg pool next to the park,and the river is about 50 yards walking distance for fishing and swimming. The host were great. Will be back.
You see the lake at the Park formed by the Llano river dam? ... it ain't there. The lake was drained and is now a river bed on the far side of the lake bed. They are mining sand from the lake bed. The park pool is a summer time facility. The park was fairly full. No showers. Toilet facilities ... argh! There were only 2 "out of state" campers there during our stay. Seems to be mostly full-time locals. Sites are roomy and level. Tables. Cement patio. Quiet. Nice host. Adjacent golf course looked decent for January. Stay a night, play golf, see Llano, and move on.
