They can really pack then in tight here. Not someplace you'd want to stay for more than a night or two.

$47 for us. Good Sam camp. 4 adult age 2 children. Unless you wanted lots of space around you, this place is clean and well kept. The biggest downside for me was the noise. Very close to the interstate and a set of busy train tracks. About two trains an hour and we are right by a crossing so the horn is sounded all night. Road kept me up at night as well. This was the most expensive site we have paid for this week. The noise is too much for me to give it a great referral even though it is not a bad camp site. I would not want to stay long.

LOUD trains

At first glance, it was a nice place. Beautiful trees and a cute little playground. Unfortunately, the pool was out of commission indefinitely due to a leak (it was 100 when we arrived) and we weren’t told about it when we booked. The staff was less than friendly, and they didn’t allow tent camping (“to keep out partiers”), but we don’t interact with the staff much, so that didn’t affect us. The biggest problem was that we were in the first row which backed up to the train tracks. Trains alone aren’t a deal breaker for us and can even be soothing, but EVERY train blew their horn RIGHT in front of the camp ground - all night long. Our pretty loud a/c did nothing to muffle the sound. Maybe it’s quieter further back in the camp, but I can’t imagine it’s much better.

Disappointed

I am not sure how this place got 3 stars! The site was not level, picnic table was on the wrong side, the traffic noise was bad, there were at least seven trains the blew their whistles while passing, all hours of the night. I we were looking forward to a leisure morning but it was so frustrating we left early. Would not consider staying there again. Sorry.
