the movie deliverance comes to mind. Strange people here!
This is a quaint state park. Busy with regulars at the boat ramp and beach on the river. Everyone was very friendly. Ranger helped me drag my kayak to my truck when I got caught in a nasty thunderstorm. The pads are level, laundry is clean ($1 per load) and the bathrooms are well lit. Went kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking and played disc golf. Sad to leave.
We really enjoyed the two nights we stayed here. I don t know what people were talking about driving in to this place. The neighborhood is not the rich but not bad at all! It is well worth it. The price is great. We re passport America members so we stayed here for $18.72 for two nights. The lady that checked us in was super nice and very helpful. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again. So peaceful and quiet.
