Nice park. Very friendly person for check in. Check in time is now as late as 7 pm.

Nice quiet location. Very tight for big rigs. Closes at 5 pm.

Small park with lots of trees built by the ccc. Friendly camp hosts. Ok Beach. Walking trails. Clean bathhouse, even had a book swap library when we went. Beautiful waterfall nearby. We'll go back if the state keeps it open.

Love the surrounding park. So much to see in Chewacla!!! Shady sites with full hook ups. A little pricey but so close to family it was well worth it. Looking forward to our next visit.

Clean bathrooms, level spots, trees, etc. Which there better be for that price!

Stayed in off season in December for a single night. While the staff were extremely friendly, the park has a rundown feel to it. It was the last leg of a cross country trip and we were hoping to end with a night equal or better than other state parks across the south. Out of 8 parks, this was the least impressive during the trip. Full hookups are nice, and plenty of hiking, but the pictures set an expectation that can’t be met.
