Nice park
By user-5274543... on 2017-10-23.
Nice park that is open in the winter. Level spots and looks as if there are only a few residential. Covered in snow during my visit but good to see they plowed some sites for parking. Very clean and renovated bathrooms. Nice hot shower. Internet is terrible.

Another typical KOA

Good place for a couple of days. A little run down and not terribly roomy. It seemed that 70-80% of spaces turned over each day. The amenities were okay. Large laundry room, but about one-third of the machines were out-of-order.
If you stay, try to get a space away from the road, as there is considerable road noise.

In town camping
By user-4982572... on 2017-10-23.
This is a nice clean campground with a friendly staff, however it's location is in town. There's highway noise and it backs up to homes. What I dislike the most is the street lights in the campground that shine into my camper door window all night. This is supposed to be camping, but feels more like sleeping in a parking lot. I like seeing stars at night and carrying a flashlight when it gets dark.

Pretty nice, but AWFUL cable and wifi

The spots were pretty good for a KOA (so far most KOAs tend to cram in as many lots as possible. The lot was narrow, but had a couple of grassy spots flanking a small patio. The picnic table was the round type with the pull-out seats, which are nice. The back ins near the pool were much better sites--lots of grass, a concrete pad, and pretty deep for a back in. And they were shady.
Didn't like the pool--small, right by the street, and no real privacy fence. The bathrooms by the office were nice--they went to the expense of nicer lighting fixtures and decorative tile. However this did highlight that they could be cleaned better. They weren't dirty by any means, but you could tell easier where they were not cleaning as deeply as they could.
Save your money and don't rent the pedal carts--they aren't well maintained, and my 11 and 12 year olds who are big for their age had a hard time maintaining the strength to turn the wheel and keep the pedaling up. I ended up pushing them, and OMG, they were heavy. The bikes are also heavy and weren't easy to ride.
The staff the first day were nice. The next day there were older people, and they weren't as pleasant.
The wifi was the worst I have seen in any park, and we were very close to the office. It was virtually unusable even for basic surfing. The cable emitted a screeching sound.
So overall the park was pretty decent, and I'd have given it a four if it weren't for the atrocious wifi and cable. I probably won't stay again, because of that, unless we can't find a better place to stop.

$48 a night, large pull through site. My biggest problem with this park was the extremely rough entrance and exit, you would think with big rigs pulling in and out that they would try to make it so you don't feel like you're about to roll over just getting in and out. Most of the roads in the park need repairs, and they don't escort you to your site. I expect more from a KOA for the price. The electrical plug in are made into a pedestal, impossible to plug into properly. Won't return to this one.
