Found this park out of season. The elderly owners were helpful. A large site with lots of camping. Facilities were a bit tired not worked. Wifi is only available standing right next to the office. Good park for $30.

This is an older campground which could use some sprucing up, including the electric/water hookups and the bathrooms. Still the bathrooms were clean.
Although the "Full Hookup" area is right off the highway, road noise was not a problem. Sites are fairly level with gravel and grass.
The campground wasn't busy at all at the end of September but we were told it was busy, near capacity much of the summer. There was plenty of space to walk our dog. It provides access to driving up the east side to Mt. St. Helens. Although the road is paved, prepared for a slow, winding trek if you go.
We stayed in our small motorhome, $31.50, only used water and electric.

Older park on 100 acres. 500 sites, maybe 15-20 in use. Some sites on Cowlitz River. Facilities are old and could use some maintenance.... overall, a nice park.

Dusty and crowded, but the bathrooms were clean. Spaces are not well particularly well laid out--couldn't back in and hook up to water and electric, had to nose in the following day. Site was significantly off level.

When you arrive, you must drive the wrong way into the parking lot to park your RV so that you do not block the entrance. When you park you will have to take up several parking space. Even after confirming my reservations the day before, there was still no documentation of a reservation for me upon arrival. It took 3 people to find my reservation in the computer.
It is a choose your own site, self-park very large campground. You must drive around and find an unoccupied or unreserved campsite. You are given a plastic card to clip onto your power box which reserves your site. Sites are 30 & 50 amp, FHU sites which are large enough for slides and awnings. There are pull through and back in sites. There is a small general store for necessities. There is a laundry room and showers available. Restrooms and showers are not very clean. Shower cost $3.00 PER SHOWER!!!!!!! Water pressure is not consistent due to poor park equipment in the pump room.
Some of the campsites are privately owned. Many permanent and seasonal campers. Many of the permanent RV s are not road worthy and the sites are filled with junk. People do not clean up after their dogs and there are a lot of dogs.
Would be good for overnight or weekend but would not recommend it for any stays longer than that. There are better options in the area.
