Very well thought out RV Park. Concrete sites good utilities. Public Beach across street. Most sites have a beach view. Carrabelle is a true Lost Coast. White Sand Beach and no crowds. Loved the area and the resort, would return. We stayed here in a 38 Ft MH.

Mixed feelings
By user-5797995... on 2017-10-23.
The RV park is clean and it is right across from the beach and the lady that answered the phone was super nice and the pool observation deck is huge. That's kind of where the good stuff ends. I'm glad we were on the other side of the street where the sites had the feeling of a *little* more room and there was a grass area in the middle.
The wifi was the worst we've ever experienced, to the point of why even bother? The pool was colder than the Gulf and my kids can handle pretty cool water. The work out room they tout is in the common room where the kitchen is and people sit to do puzzles and needle work, etc. and there is only one recumbent bike and one very small multi function weight machine. And to top it off the laundry room was out of order the day I was around and could get laundry done. We were right along the highway so it was loud. Overall, I was bummed and couldn't wait to leave. But we loved Carrabelle and Apalachicola. If you come here, go see the bottle house in Carrabelle. The Visitor's center of FULL of great info for the area.

Great place
By user-5837186... on 2017-10-23.
Our second stay at CBRVC and loved it...very quiet....very clean... walk across the road and into the Gulf... Carrabelle and Apalachacola are great little towns. WiFi is not very good...but the info they provide indicates limited bandwidth..worked fine for us reading our email....very pet friendly and lots of nice people...see you next year CBRVR.!

Really nice park
By user-5791226... on 2017-10-23.
We spent three nights here; extending because of hurricane Patricia. The park is nicely set up and maintained across the road from a beautiful beach. All the pads are concrete and the bathrooms and laundry facilities were very nice. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They gave us suggestions for two great places to eat, each about 20 miles away. Some of the best seafood ever! We did wish the roads were a little wider for our 40' 5th wheel but got it backed into a great spot. We were traveling with two other couples with 30' 5th wheels and had our spots next to and across the street. Highly recommend this place.

A weeks stay.
By user-4941727... on 2017-10-23.
We stayed here for a week in January 2013 and had a good stay. Clean and well ran. The only disappointment we had was the pool was not heated. In the panhandle of Florida your pool should be heated and if not they should say that on their Website.

Nice clean park. The beach is just across the road. Nice friendly staff. We had awesome seafood at the Red Pirate and the Coastal.

Great campground

We stayed here for a week. We normally stay at state parks and generally don't like privately owned campgrounds, but this was excellent. The pool was great, usually not crowded. The laundromat was the best I ever used. Our TV was not working on their cable and they lent us a TV to use for the rest of our stay. We plan to come back and spend more time. We loved the area, it is not commercial like the rest of Florida.

Clean, Well Managed

This is a clean, well managed RVC resort property with only a short walk across the highway to the public beach. Dining at nearby 2Als and the Fisherman's Wife were excellent.
Although the town of Carrabelle lacks the usual tourist shopping normally found in beach cities, the nearby town of Apalachicola has much to see in the way of coastal shops and a wider selection of eating establishments. We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

Horrible WiFi and tight spots
By user-6569219... on 2018-03-14.
First time we ever stayed here, very tight spots to get our 40 footer in and the dark, unlit at night, so arrive early if you plan to stay here. The gal said they can’t light it much because of the turtles (never saw any turtles). The WiFi is HORRIBLE. Seems they have nicely landscaped camp sites by the road with new wood chips but when you get to the back of the park I guess they don’t care because it’s not as nicely landscaped - guess it’s all about curb appeal at the front of the park. It is nice to have beautiful beach access right across the street though. Oh, did I mention the WiFi is HORRIBLE?? To stay here a month it was a bit pricey. The pool is not heated or at least have a solar cover but they didn’t have that either which was a real bummer for me. Also, make sure you have plenty of propane because they don’t have it nor do they allow a truck to come in and fill you up. It was unseasonably cool when we stayed so we had to but heaters so we didn’t run out of propane. If we stay again, it might be for no longer then a week, I’d prefer to be around larger cities with more to do.

Spent 2 nights in our 45' motorhome. Main park is maybe too tight for 40+'. "New Haven" area on the east side of park (where we stayed) has more room. WiFi and cell coverage is weak. BUT the park is across the street from a nice beach. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Not a great layout so as soon as someone parks in front of you you see nothing. Pool was clean. Bath house was ok. Yellow flies and horse flies were bad. Apparently they were out early this year.
