This was a great time of the year to be in the park. Easy access to the beach, providing a great place to let our dog run and fetch sticks. There are several hiking trails leading to the north or south lighthouses. Note: RVs and trailers are not allowed on the roadway to the south lighthouse - no parking and tight turns. $35 for electric and water. No wifi or TV hookups. You're paying for the location, which is very nice.
Mosquito's are thick at $42.00 per nite you don't get any cell phone, Wifi, or TV. Plus if you have a guest come for the day they must buy a Discover Pass if they stay to long the rangers pass out $99.00 tickets. Raccoons are every where don't leave any thing outside even full pop cans. There are private camp grounds much nicer and less money.
Even though most sights don't have full hookups. There a pump out and several places to fill your water tank. Lots of trails rocks to climb. Breathtaking views. Nice beach Benson. Walkable from sites. Negative a lot off bees. Raccoons go after anything left out!
