| Great Camping
Very nice and friendly camping.
| Toilet and shower facilities need updating
Granted, it was 4th of July weekend and we made our reservation only a few days out, so we weren't surprised that we were allotted the last spot. The cost was $116 for one night. What we were surprised by was the state of toilet and shower facilities. We happened to get the spot immediately next to the over-flowing , not so pleasantly smelling dumpster, but it was a busy weekend. What was worse was the "comfort house" (i.e. toilet and shower) conditions. First, there is only one shower, which happened to have inches of standing water in it when I arrived. The toilet brush was bagged in a plastic grocery bag and the toilet stalls are rusty and in need of paint. It was so repulsive that my teenage daughter said she felt dirtier after showering and my wife refused to shower. On a positive note, the location to Hyannis is very convenient and other than being next to the dumpster, the "premium" sites all looked new, with nice gravel and concrete pads and electric pedestals. We heard from one person who has been coming there for over 10 years that new management has taken over and things are "not as they used to be." As someone rather new to the RV world, my intention of writing this review is not to be hyper critical, rather to provide constructive criticism to help improve the facilities. Unless in a bind, we would opt to stay someplace else next time.
