Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort

| Stayed here for 5 months. Loved it. Great people, awesome amenities, beautiful scenery and wonderful location! Also it was a huge plus that our monthly rate INCLUDED electric! Will winter here again in the future!

| Good Stay

The staff was very pleasant. The park is very nice. Tourist attractions are about a half hour away. Essential stores, Wal-Mart, etc., are very close. The biggest problem is the noisy traffic on the major road in front of the park. Cement pads on each site are level. Many full-timers but we didn't have any problems with any if them. We visited in a travel trailer and would go back for future visits.

Pads and roads are narrow and many trees. Wifi was useless. Very Clean facilities. Road noise is pretty noticeable. Front rows are not large enough to pay more for and tight getting in and out. Slides will take full with of the pad so you are walking on the turf.

Nice location but the park wash rooms are locked from 9pm-9am.

The bathrooms are closed from 9 PM to 9 AM every day and then at 9 AM they come and clean them so they're not really available and until later. Then during the 12 hours that they are open they're not very well cared for very dirty and messy. we will not return to this park because of this. Also the gym and other amenities do not open till 9 AM very late to go to the gym.

| Nice park but needs improvement

We have just felt the park needs improvement. We personally witnessed 3 RVs, ours included, have massive roof damage due to the many trees which have required a new roof on each of the RV's. The streets are way too narrow to accommodate large RV's as well as trees. We have also had to move spots 3 times due to new people coming in for a weeks stay. It's a lot for a full time person to pack up when it would be much easier to ask the new person coming in to pick another spot a few spaces away. The sites are not well maintained...they don't water the grass/weeds so it's just dirt & when it rains there is a lot of dirt runoff making a huge mess. There is also very minimal parking for guests!!! So frustrating! Lastly, when a long term person leaves, the spaces don't get cleaned. Our neighbors left 6 weeks ago and the trash, birdbath, & planters are still there. Another neighbor left 2 months ago and the chairs they left behind were just cleaned up... not sure whether by the resort or by a camper. The office staff is kind however & the pool is well maintained. If you coming in for less than a month, pick a spot in the front close to the pool. The back area is where the full timers are.

Sites have concrete pads but narrow and close together. Trees can be a problem in some sites. Huge construction going on right now along 1604 corridor. Advice to front office staff: always help people standing in line in front of you before the one person on the phone!
