Watch the Trees

We "mistakenly" arrived during LSFest so the roar of engines was very load from early morning to late in the evening. Beech Bend Park was so still open on the weekend so that added to the congestion and getting in and out was a challenge. The trees on the tree-lined driveway in and out of the park need to be trimmed up because they scrape the roof of the bug rigs. Trying to find 50 amp sites was also a little hard as most of those sites aren't marked. Look for the telephone poles! Would also be nice if the curvey drive to the sites was marked better. HArd to see where you are going at night

Poorly maintained
By user-5051324... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed here for a month while working in town. The electric service boxes are in bad need of upgrading along with the sewer service. The 30 amp receptacle was so worn that it burned my cord end up because of arcing. Flooding is also a problem in the open section when there is a heavy rainfall. Won't be staying here again EVER!

Ok

It was race weekend and the noise was loud but not unbearable. The park wasn't crowded so it was fine staying here. If you want a little space this would be a nightmare on a summer weekend with the whole park open and everbody having a outdoor fire going and running around.

We have camped in a variety of campgrounds but truly felt uncomfortable here. Hard to figure out layout and had to move three times in order to find working electric. Sites littered and narrow . Most of the campers appeared to be permanent residents with poorly cared for trailers. Noisy with a motor cycle roaring through sites. Wouldn't recommend .

Loved it

We spent 4 nights there in late October after amusement park closed for season. Lots of campers there but campground not full so had plenty of space. Quiet, spacious, lots of room to walk dog, immaculate bathrooms and super convenient to Bowling Green sights. Just couple miles from Corvette plant and museum. Very reasonable rates too. Highly recommend.

Stayed for a week to see the sights. The campground was clean, trash was always picked up, sites need to be repaved, site numbers not very well marked and electrical could use some maintenance. Bathrooms, showers and laundry room were clean and cool temperature wise. The laundry room does not offer seating, a change machine or a dispenser with detergent, etc. You do have the amusement park/water park and drag strip within walking distance. GPS says you are there about a half a mile before entrance. 2 boat ramps are on the river on a paved road behind amusement park. Not sure if fishing license is required. About 5 miles to nearest grocery store and fuel. Employees were friendly. Would stay there again.

Disappointed
By user-5885544... on 2019-08-09.
Driving into the park was beautiful but once inside it was very run down. We are here for a rally which one would think they would have this place in pristine shape. Not so. Weeds and grass are high. Sights have huge holes. Very few 50 amp sights. Can t level the rig. Paid $15 a week for internet. Doesn t freaking work and company won t return phone calls. If we hadn t already paid for the week would not have stayed. We drove from Texas for this rally. Very disappointed in the park

Like last poster, here for rally. Power was out during check in. Glad we didn't get site with main group. Reserved 50 amp, got 30 amp and no sewer. But power was solid, and water pressure was excellent. Ended up in grassy, somewhat soggy site. Needed to dump due to no sewer. Dump station was full. Normal sites are very tight. How this place claims #5 in Kentucky seems truly unlikely.
This place is well back a two lane road and could be better marked. Internet is marginal and expensive. Bathhouses seem nice.
Being combined with an old amusement park causes dangerous situations as the park patrons wander across the only access road to the campground without looking. The entrance gatehouse causes blockages both coming and going.

Worst Rv park ever
By user-5885544... on 2019-08-09.
If I could give this dump a 0 star I would! We were there for seven days. The pads needed mowing when we got there. They still need to be mowed when we left. The holes were so big we had to go buy three bags of dirt to put in a hole so that we could drive our motorhome out of the park it was ridiculous never saw anybody around doing any kind of maintenance the front part was mowed very well because of the water park was up there but once you got past that it was like you were in never Neverland we were fortunate to get in a spot that had 50 amp for our MotorhomeBut not everyone was as lucky as us it was ridiculous we had a rally there so you would think they would want the place to look nice so that some of us might want to come back that definitely is not the case mark this one off your list
