Nice

A little pricey but very nice spot. Was there in early May. They were one of the only campgrounds open in the area. Quiet. Friendly staff. Well stocked store.

It was our first adventure in our pop-up, and the start of the season, but the service and amenities were fantastic

Plenty of Green Space
By user-5815950... on 2017-10-23.
Quite expensive for just an overnight stay. Would be nice if there was a rate for those who are there for the many things to do and a rate for the overnight folks who don't use any of the frills. Plenty of green space to walk dogs but no dog park. Dumpsters are very far away from the back part of the campground. For the price they charge they should pick up trash bag from your site.
Clean with okay gravel roads, easy access. 40' Super C with towed vehicle.

What a place!

This truly is a gigantic resort. They have over 700 sites on 250 acres. But the way it is laid out, it doesn't feel crowded. The curving roads, forested areas, open fields, and ponds provide ample space with only a few visible neighbors. There's a newer section and older section, both with swimming pools and spas. I imagine this is like a small city in the summer, but we came after Labor Day and the cost was only $40 plus tax. Highly recommended!

Very Good plush, quiet, almost its own city.

Everything we beautiful, quiet, well layed out, 4 pools, multiple stores, multiple lakes, divided into sections for privacy, and reduced traffic.
The only thing was that we were assigned a site that was not numbered on their row markers. We drove passed it, and had to detach the toad to turn around AFTER finding where the site was of course.
Great place, convenient to shopping and beaches.

Huge RV Resort
By user-5904348... on 2017-10-23.
Stayed 2016-08-03 to 2016-08-06
This place is HUGE. It is also well maintained and clean. There's tons for kids/families to do. Has a lot of activity going on. They even have an adults only pool with a bar & grille. Our 50 amp, FHU site was a pull-thru in the big rig section - no shade. Was a little pricey. Other sections (can also handle big rigs) are very woodsy and shaded. Site was gravel and level. WiFi was excellent. Limited cable channels. Friendly, easy, efficient check-in. We stayed here in a motorhome. Would stay here again.

We were on our way to Bass Harbor and need a place to stay for one night. This campground is great, we wish we could stay week, we will be back. From check in to check out everyone was gracious and friendly. Great drive thru site, all the amenities that you need. We overlooked a pond with fountain, nice view. This place has it all! Great restaurants nearby!

Hands Down The best RV park we've been to!
By user-5035017... on 2017-10-23.
Just as they advertise, this is an RV "resort" no just a park. We stumbled into it on our treck across the NE states. We intended to stay 2 nights, decided to stay an extra night and still didn't want to leave. I highly recommend without reservation.

Nice Park
By user-5796918... on 2018-07-06.
All staff we encountered were great, from reservation to check-in to questions during our stay. Large park, but you don’t realize it because of spacious sites and trees. Was a good place to base our stay in this area. Highly recommend.

A must visit
By user-4596081... on 2019-08-09.
Wow! What doesn't this place have? It has heated pools, hot tubs, (adult only pools & hot tubs too), bars & food at the pools, pavilions with live entertainment, kayaking on a river right from the campground. 20 miles of bike trails nearby. Minutes to the ocean with trolleys running to the beach on the hour. Old Orchard Beach is minutes away with shopping & amusement rides. Horse race facility up the road. It is very close to spectacular sea food restaurants. The resort is dog friendly and has a good size dog park on the property. The playgrounds are nice. There are basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, baseball fields. They rent bikes, kayaks, golf carts, paddle boats, etc... There is a golf course with a mile. The bath houses were clean and neat. Plenty of laundy rooms with recent equipment, all in good working order. A nice arcade room. This place is hopping in the summer with tons of kids and activities. Staff does a great job of keeping control without being intrusive. There is cable TV. The internet was just okay. We had a blast here. Our site was so level, we only had to adjust the tongue jack height and DONE. This is a must visit place.

This is a true RV resort. We stayed in the South Section on the lake with flat large sites. Very organized, lots to do, or not. Great facilities. Stayed early June. No bugs. Trying again on labor day. Reminded me of another great RV resort Lake George RV.

4th of July Packed House
By user-5554610... on 2019-08-09.
With 700 sites this park is huge but the 4th weekend crowd overwhelmed this place. Adult pool was SRO and fughetabout the kids pools. This was the big event for Old Orchard Beach. We found a place to dine and view the fireworks display in town but traffic was park and crawl. 1.5 hrs to go 4 miles. We stayed two weeks so we got to see the park in normal operation. Lots of things to do but the restaurant burned to the ground last month so you must venture out for food other than finger food. Great lobstah rolls and chowda at many restaurants close by. I reserve 5 stars for parks with paved sites and roads. After all, glampers don t want sand inside.
Wifi - overloaded and so was Veriz cell tower.
