Gravel RV park, wide pull through, nice staff. Next to railroad. Thought I was in a KOA. LOL.
OK for a night, Love's truck stop just up street. Just off exit 97 in Grants, NM. $22.00 with good sam.

O.K. site, but not in a pretty area at all, and the trains run all night keeping us awake all night. We only stayed one night to rest up, maybe should have kept going. Not recommended.

Nice stop overnight or longer

Stayed in 5th wheel. Nice level sites. quiet. Some trains in distance but we like trains. Very clean $24 a night with 50 amp and full hookup and tax with Good Sam. Good location foe El Morro and El Maipais Nat. Monument. Carolyn in office very nice as is her dog. Stayed 4 days then added a 5th.

Rates are now $20 easy in easy out friendly staff. Park is clean all utilities work very well. Close to restaurants and gas stations.

We stayed overnight at the Bar S RV Park in our 40’ fifth wheel. We had a very long pull-through site with plenty of room between us and our neighbors. Although we did not use the facilities, we were impressed with how neatly the campground was maintained. The campground is very close to I-40 but we could not hear any highway noise. The only real negative is that there are railroad tracks within a few hundred feet of the campground. There are trains running all night, with some of them literally shaking the ground under our rig. Despite that, the price is great so we would probably stay there again.

Called for reservation about 45 minutes out and told no problem lots of room. When we got there we were told they were full. "Gee people just kept showing up".

Utilities a problem

The power is too high which caused our inverter to shut off our power (which it is designed to do). Had to run our generator to use stove. Plus, people are not very good about picking up after their pets...and the park just leaves it that way. Will not stay here again.

We Loved It

This park is neat as a pin. Trains run in a distance and are of no bother. Close to Interstate 40 but not too close. 59 spaces and half are large pull thru spits. Over 50 free cable TV channels. Super courteous staff. Over 25 restaurants within 5 miles. Monthly rate only $220 plus electric at 13 cents a kwh with no surcharges! Excellent free WiFi. Right next to Loves for fuel. Super easy access.

Great place to stay

We had a fuel line break and we landed here. What a blessing. The owner and the staff were quick to help us locate help. It was Easter Good Friday so of course everything was closed. But everyone treated us great and we felt safe and even though the trains are running it was a great place. As the weekend progressed he continued to be concerned for us. We will look this place up again on our way through to Az. The bathrooms are immaculate! The laundry area was great too.

OK for an overnight, but as with any place along I-40, it's the trains that will grind away at you! Clean spaces but a bit close for my tastes, I would choose a different place to stay next time through here just to see if there is something better.

Stayed for one night. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Spots are not too big, but level. Lots of full time residents. Easy access to I-40, gas & food. Lots of trains all night to lull you to sleep.

FYI Office closed from 11:30-1:30 for lunch. Decent park for a fair price. Nothing fancy but pull-thrus are long and level.

We got the last open site. With our Good Sam Discount (3 of us) it was $22.15. Full hookups, quiet (pleasant sound of chugging trains going by n NO HORNS blasting), shade, pull-thrus, wide lanes, washers n dryers, shower, clean n well kept, very friendly staff, and nice gift shop. Pet friendly. Definitely a keeper on our stops list.
