I don't know what this picture is on RV Parky, but the site we so tight, felt like a sardine. I will never come back here.
What a lovely campground! Just outside of Acadia National Park lies this KOA that not only offers great views, but offers friendly service as well. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed as special guests into the campground, offered advice on how to see Acadia, guided to our campsite with the wood offered at check in. We go to many campgrounds and incredibly we are generally just checked in rather than offered items to make our stay nicer such as wood, advice, etc. It is a service that I wish more campgrounds would understand. I would definitely recommend staying at this campground if you are going to visit Acadia as everything about it will make your stay memorable.
Campground we always wanted to try. Stayed early in season so we had area on ocean all to ourselves . 100+ a nite so we only stayed 2 nites water electric and cable no sewer. Wouldn't say I'd be back
Great Sunsets are our specialty! Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA is the only campground on the west side of our island so come watch the sky melt into sunset pastels from your waterfront site or our beach area. No RV? No problem! Enjoy our waterfront Airstreams, lodges or studio lodges. While camping at Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA, watch the sky melt into sunset pastels from your waterfront site. Waterfront sites are perfect for Atlantic shoreline camping. Encompassed by 3,500 feet of Atlantic shoreline along the entrance to Acadia National Park, you'll also be able to enjoy nature's beauty from the private, rocky beach. Regular shuttle service allows campers to enjoy all the amenities of the campground and the local area. Whale watching and fishing boats hire out, kayaks are available to rent and restaurant specials include lobster and blueberry pie.
