Sorry for typos in my previous review and I couldn't figure out a way to edit it. I meant to say but the RV park is well maintained and very clean.
If you're coming through the antelope valley this is where to stay . First of all it is very reasonably priced, it is also very cute enrollment aint, the manager is extremely friendly and helpful, it is quiet, and there seems to always be plenty of empty spots. On the downside there is ZERO shade and it gets hot here in the summer. there are also no amenities such as a rec room a pool a dog run or store or even the laundry facility. But they do have nice showers / restroom. So for a quick layover it's the perfect place and the price is right.
... impossible to get hold of the manager. Perhaps things have changed since the 6/2015 review, but I tried for three weeks prior to our arrival - both by email and the number listed on the fairgrounds web site. I even called the main fairgrounds office to verify contact information. In addition, the manager was not in the office during the hours stated on the office signage. Other than that, it's a very clean park. It's completely hard-surfaced but the sites are large and the utilities good. There were many rigs that appeared to be long-term homesteaders with lots of extra "stuff" around and under the rigs. There were five or six spaces left when we pulled in abut 2:30 in the afternoon and they were filled by supper time. There are no reservations at this park so, you take your chances on availability since the manager seems to have a "no communications" policy.
