A family place and lots of neat things to see and do with all ages of kids! Friendly and very accommodating for all sizes of rv's. Spots are narrow but it's a family camp ground. Don't miss this stop over on way to Los Angeles cuz it's an easy 7 hour drive " down- hill" all the way!
Stay away from any site nearby the toilet houses. Otherwise you will enjoy the smell of human waste all day. Unfriendly staff and small sites. Pool is good. Claer water and refreshing. Best of this expensive park is the shuttle service to Yosemite np (app 40 min drive). Shuttle is not free but park entrance is in the tickets. It takes you all the way to the visitors centre.
One of the more expensive parks we've stayed at - of course everything near Yosemite is costly. However, even though we had a nice shady, crushed gravel site, I didn't think we got a lot of value for the $$$. Showers and baths were clean, but dated and not spotless. Laundry closes at 6pm - and since you're in Yosemite all day, it isn't useful. We had to go in town for laundry. Also, a warning Do Not use the pay phone. Our Verizon My-Fi didn't work, and the parks WiFi blocks voip calls. So I used the payphone for a personal emergency, and I got billed over $50 for a ten minute, long distance call. The owners are courteous, but for the money the customer service makes this just an OK place to camp. Was there in May 2015 in a motorhome.
