If you're looking for a quiet, people and pet friendly park, this is the place! Javier the manager is always available and more than happy to help you if needed. Lots of trails to walk your dogs. About 7 minutes from downtown Tyler
The write sounded great, but it wasn't accurate. There isn't a tree in the campground, there are several "full time" residents in run down campers with junk outside. The sites are close and are parking lot style. He may own 20 acres, but the campground is on about 5 or 6, and its fenced in. The area around the park is very low rent and shabby. We rode around and left. We went to the state park nearby. Much nicer
Found this place on Passport America. Spent one night in a TT for a cost of $17. It is clean and quiet with friendly staff. Does not have Cable TV, but got lots of channels on antenna. Wi-fi was good. Checked out showers and found them clean. Nothing fancy. Small laundry is ok. Grounds are clean and level. Good place to spend a nigh or two.
