Very nice, quiet campground. Sites are grassy, but level. Utilities all worked well. Restrooms/showers clean. Very reasonable. Perfect for overnight stop.

Economical

Not a 5 star by any means buy Wanda the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. Rates are very reasonable. Site was convenient and level. Some sites were quite wet due to recent rains. Bathrooms and showers not as clean as I would prefer. Conveniently located to Joplin and Carthage.

Sweet small park close to interstate with lots of trees and grass. Sites are level. Friendly and helpful staff; no additional amenities; very reasonable rates. Would stay here again if we ever pass thru Carthage, MO. (nd)

So happy to read the reviews!

They are not 5 star amenities, but they deserved it, for the welcoming, the trees, the grass and a quiet place. It feels wonderful. The price is $25 and propane on site. So nice I recommend it.

Laid back park
By user-5301829... on 2018-07-06.
Gravel sites seemed level, with ample room between campsites. Mostly pull thru, nice. Have a 32 C with toad fit easily. Caution, coming from I44, entrance is on the downhill, start slowing at top of hill for left turn near bottom.

Will never return

We made a reservation for a 50 amp spot, my husband uses an oxygen concentrator and we must have 50 amp. We got there and there weren't any available. The lady doesn't seem to know what she is doing . Had to find another spot in the area since the weather was getting crappy. Thank goodness we were able to get one at Coachlight RV Park. We will never return to Ballard's.

A few pull-through sites. I was in a 38 Class A with toad. Gravel pads, I tried 2 different ones neither were level. Nice setting with trees some of which rubbed my rig on way in. No cell signal for T-Mobile or Sprint. WiFi is on life-support. Shower house nice.

We stumbled on this place. Not far off i44. Very nice hostess. Coin laundry. Clean baths and showers. Some full hook ups. Very quiet. Will stay again if we happen through again

First off we are in a twenty two foot camper. Not an ideal spot for the big guys; but perfect for the smaller camper groups. It's a camp ground and not the Hyatt or Trump Hotel. Easy on and off from the interstate. We got a great welcome from lady running the campground and got a great spot over looking a nice pond. Perfect spot for a us to do a one night stop over as we travel to Las Cruces.
